Urban League of Metropolitan St. Louis entrepreneur, storyteller, and community strategist Brittany Alberty is the founder of The Marketing Midwife, a creative consulting agency focused on helping nonprofits, small businesses, and community-driven brands strengthen their visibility, storytelling, and impact. With more than 15 years of experience in marketing, public relations, and community engagement, Brittany has been recognized as an AAMA Top 50 Black Marketers on the Rise and is known for blending culture, strategy, and authentic connection in her work.
Her passion for storytelling and local history ultimately inspired her transition into public service. Using the same branding, communication, and community engagement skills she sharpened through entrepreneurship, Brittany successfully ran for office and now serves as Alderwoman for the Third Ward in Bellefontaine Neighbors, where she advocates for community development, resident engagement, and innovative local leadership.
