Center for Entrepreneurship Supports Innovation and Opportunity at UNITE TECH Conference & Expo

ST. LOUIS, MO — The Center for Entrepreneurship at the Urban League of Metropolitan St. Louis is proud to serve as a sponsor and collaborative partner of the UNITE TECH Conference & Expo, a dynamic gathering designed to connect entrepreneurs, innovators, technology professionals, students, and community leaders.

Urban League’s Center for Entrepreneurship joins regional partners to expand access to technology education, workforce development, and entrepreneurial opportunities.

Held October 14–15, 2026, at The Post Building in downtown St. Louis, the two-day conference brought together individuals and organizations committed to advancing innovation, expanding economic opportunity, and creating pathways into the rapidly evolving technology sector.

With an emphasis on learning, networking, innovation, and collaboration, UNITE TECH offered participants opportunities to explore emerging technologies, connect with industry professionals, and gain valuable insights into careers and business opportunities within the tech industry.

Programming included panel discussions, educational sessions, a career fair, technology demonstrations, and showcases featuring drones, robotics, and innovative solutions.

Building Pathways to Entrepreneurship and Innovation

As a sponsor of the event’s Learning Labs, the Center for Entrepreneurship helped support hands-on educational opportunities designed to equip participants with practical knowledge, valuable resources, and exposure to new technologies.

The Learning Labs, powered by the Capital Readiness Program (CRP), reflected a shared commitment to making innovation and entrepreneurship more accessible to individuals and communities that have historically faced barriers to participation in high-growth industries.

Through interactive learning experiences, attendees had opportunities to strengthen their understanding of technology, explore entrepreneurial possibilities, and develop skills relevant to today’s digital economy.

The Center for Entrepreneurship recognizes that technology is not simply an industry of the future. It is an essential component of how businesses operate, compete, and grow today.

By supporting initiatives like UNITE TECH, the Center continues to champion opportunities that help entrepreneurs and aspiring business owners navigate technological change and position themselves for long-term success.

Investing in the Next Generation

The conference also highlighted the importance of youth engagement through the Be Tech Midwest Youth Division, powered by CyberUP.

By introducing young people to careers in technology, cybersecurity, robotics, and other emerging fields, the conference helped create meaningful connections between education, workforce development, and future economic mobility.

These efforts align with the Urban League’s broader mission of empowering communities and expanding access to economic opportunities.

Collaboration That Creates Economic Impact

Strong entrepreneurial ecosystems are built through collaboration.

The Center for Entrepreneurship’s involvement in UNITE TECH demonstrates the importance of partnerships between community organizations, technology leaders, educational institutions, and business development professionals.

Together, these collaborations help bridge gaps in access to knowledge, resources, professional networks, and emerging opportunities.

As the St. Louis region continues to develop its position as a hub for entrepreneurship and innovation, the Center for Entrepreneurship remains committed to supporting initiatives that help business owners learn, build, and grow.
